The four main breeds of pot bellied pigs are the Vietnamese, Göttinger 'mini' pig, Kunekunes and the Resident of Munich miniature pig

Let us take a closer look at four popular potbelly breeds of pet pigs:

Vietnamese Potbelly pigs: They are really small to the point of being known as dwarfs. A full grown pig can stand 15-inches tall and the length is around 3ft. They normally weigh 70-150 lb but a few of them can even reach the 200 lb. mark. The prominent colors range from solid white to solid black. They are known best for their small size and good temperament.

Kunekunes: These potbelly pigs are popular in the United Kingdom. They come from a rare breed in New Zealand and are bred for temperament. Kunekunes are extremely friendly pigs that are easy on the environment.

Göttinger 'mini' pig and Resident of Munich miniature pig: Originally, these two pig breeds are used for research in medical labs but have recently become popular house pets. They have long, narrow heads and large ears. These potbelly pigs are found in Germany.
